Chargers WR Jackson expects four-game ban
While the San Diego Chargers and wide receiver Vincent Jackson(notes) go back and forth about the contract extension that he reportedly wants to be even bigger than what Brandon Marshall(notes) got from the Miami Dolphins (four years, $47 million), the on-the-trading-block Jackson also awaits a possible suspension from the league for two DUIs.ProFootballTalk has a league source that says a "team with interest in Jackson has learned that he's expecting a four-game suspension from the league office."
Minnesota Vikings defensive end Jared Allen(notes) got exactly that back in 2007 when he was with the Kansas City Chiefs and got his second DUI, but it was reduced to two games.
The San Diego Union-Tribune reported earlier this week that Jackson is on the trading block and that the Washington Redskins and Seattle Seahawks have interest in Jackson.
